Program Doktor Ilmu Pendidikan merupakan salah satu dari tiga Program Doktor yang telah dibuka di Universitas Bengkulu. Program ini telah memulai kuliah perdananya pada tahun 2016 lalu denganjumlah 27 orang mahasiswa. Meskipun telah dibuka sejak 2 tahun lalu, namun program pendidikan strata III Ilmu Pendidikan ini masih belum begitu dikenal oleh masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan. Kegiatan ini dipimpin oleh koordinator program yaitu Prof. Dr. Wachidi. M.PD. Prof.
Melalui kegiatan inidiharapkan semakin banyak masyarakat yang berminat untuk melanjutkan studinya di Program Doktor Ilmu Pendidikan FKIP Universitas Bengkulu.
